You know out of all the years of my life, I have learned the most about how people act within the last 2 years. Basically since I graduated high school. With college parties, going out more, meeting new people, talking and working with different folks, seeing peoples myspace/blogs etc. and just straight up living I’ve came to the conclusion that 75% of yall muhfuckas is not real. Like, the person you are portraying is not who you really want to be, you’re not comfortable in your own shell. In this day in age with the internet and everything and especially being in L.A. everybody wants to be famous or at least be seen with someone famous so they can be “affiliated”. In life there are always going to be trends, thats just the way it is. And with trends there are going to be followers. But I think our generation (age 18-23) has a different breed of followers. For the sake of this shit lets just call them HYPEBEASTS. Not to be confused with the street wear term, but a different definition of hypebeast in my eyes is someone that goes waaaay out of their normal routine or comfortability zone just to be considered “cool”. I feel that I’ve seen more of these dudes/gals over the past 6 months in my life more than ever. FAKE NIGGAS AND FAKE BITCHES ALL OVER. All these niggas rappin and “hustlin” and wanna be Lil Wayne ass niggas need to give it a damn rest. You know there definitely nothing wrong with having a hobby you know. But my nigga if you weight 260 lbs. and you never picked up a skateboard why do it now just because Pharrell did it. Do something that you’re really interested in be a muthafuckin Chef. Do what you want to do and don’t worry about what looks cool or what is cool. Because at the end of the day you have to face yourself. Do the shit for you. Fuck everyone in the world…except you. It may sound selfish but man can’t no one in the world do for you, what you can do for yourself. You don’t need anyone to tell you you’re cool or tight. IF YOU THINK YOUR SHIT IS HOT THEN YOUR SHIT IS HOT. Think about Souljah Boy, if that nigga woulda came up to me and said “yo I got this new dance right here called the Souljah Boy” I woula probably laughed at his ass and said nigga stay in school quit rap or go home and kill yourself. If he woulda listened…well I’m sure you get the point. He had sooo much confidence in his shit that the whole fuckin world caught on and his ballin now. Nigga is damn near platinum with just one hot single. And I assure you that Souljah Boy is the same nigga at home that he is on stage or on his songs. HE’S HIM. BE THE FUCK YOU!!!
To all my folks that are the fuck them. Don’t worry we WILL prevail. Think about them niggas who used to skate when we were young as fuck I’m talking 1999-2000 skaters. When niggas dreamed of being on the X-Games (remember the X-Game bmx bike that shit was red). They stayed true to skateboarding and now think of the post Pharrell skaters. When every nigga was a skater. How many of those niggas could actually SKATE. I’d say two out of ten. And one of those 2 were niggas that straight up loved skating since day one and is the nigga that you will still see skating today when the those post Pharrell niggas traded a skateboard for a microphone. How many niggas you know rap before myspace? I bet you can count them on 1 hand. Now think after myspace. LOL funny question huh? Probably every other nigga. Like my man Hope said “You niggas think since you got a shirt from UNDFTD and some studio time that you a rapper now”? Fuckouttahere. I give about 4 months and niggas is about to start droppin like flies from this rap shit because its getting to a higher level. The higher you get up in life the more people around you fall off. Think about it, how many niggas you know played ball at the YMCA, now how many played @ they junior high, how many played in high school, how many played in college and how many played in the fuckin NBA? Well unless you went to Westchester. The list gets smaller and smaller the higher you get. I know about 3 niggas in the NBA compared to the 200 niggas I know that played @ the Y.
And another note folks need to understand to respect and learn from the niggas that are in the position they want to be in. The purpose of a teacher is so that he/she can help gain the information that they have. The teacher knows what it takes to get to a certain point and you as a student have to be willing to learn. There are many alternatives to the “teacher”. Other methods are reading, observing, and making mistakes and APPLYING those methods into life. The definition of insane is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So if you doin the same shit in your life with out trying to progress and change it up. YOU ARE INSANE. If someone says “Yo my nig, if you stay at home you can make $100 a week.” You stay home that first week and nothin happens, you probably think okay maybe next week. Stay home that 2nd weekend and again no money, you better get yo ass up and see wtf is goin on, cuz if you wait for that 3rd week your insane. FUCKIN CRAY ZEE.
